Cascade Zydeco Board Meeting Minutes

June 3, 2009

Meeting called to order @6:15. In attendance board members, Patty Kadel, Jim Lalone, Jamie Morgan, John Klindt, Ryan Matthews, Susan Guz & Rosemary Sickles. Guest Barbara Wertz. Minutes taken by Jim Lalone.

* Reviewed minutes from 5-13-09 board meeting

* Action item: elections to board. One last push to have new people involved. Update, 3 new people to be on ballot. Patty had questions on By Laws, will research and notify for input. Action item: Budget approved for picnic of $200.00 along with booking a band.

* Review advertising for Blues Fest. Fans were voted on and approved.

* Topic of discussion: Barbara would like to update U-Tube with new dance videos. She will talk with Don about cost and ideas.

* Topic of discussion: Barbara suggested we advertise more at end of dance lesson to promote Cascade Zydeco web site. Action: will talk with instructors to promote more.

* Meeting adjourned at 7:15 to enjoy Curly Taylor event.
