Cascade Zydeco Board Meeting

JANUARY 07, 2009

Meeting called to order @5:15. In attendance board members, Patty Kadel, Jim Lalone, Jamie Morgan, Dawn Madrid, John Klindt, Ryan Matthews & Rosemary Sickles. Minutes taken by Jim Lalone.

Reviewed Dec.03, 2008 meeting minutes. All approved minutes. Action item still needing attention: Bank signatures Jamie, Craig & Jim. Need to coordinate with Patty at Fred Meyer Bank Hwy 99 when all parties are back in town.
Financial report given by Patty Kadel. Reports up to date as follows: 2008 ending with net surplus of $2533.49.
Topic of discussion: Inquire if PPAA is available on Sat. for the month of Feb. Jim to explore.
Topic of discussion: organize a volunteer group to offer our support in thanks to the PPAA. All agreed good idea. Will contact Lee and inquire. Jim to explore.
Update report on Dance Camp given by Dawn. Moving forward with yard sale in Feb. Patty & John are heading up and will be promoting. Discount setup for early enrollment at dance camp, $175.00 cut off 08/01/09. After this date $210.00. All's moving forward and continue to promote event.
Band Committee Report given by Jamie Morgan. Voted on NO workshop in March at Norse Hall. Jim will contact Ray and cancel hall. Upcoming live dance with Dikki Du set up for Wed. March 18th at PPAA. Working on Feb event.
Reviewed bylaws given by Ryan. Moving forward with changes, Ryan had inquired about some of the wording and changes made. Ryan to present at next meeting for approval of changes.
Meeting adjourned at 6:15 to enjoy Curly Taylor event.
