Membership Information

Membership in Cascade Zydeco runs from July 1 to June 30. Dues help fund our events during the year--live band dances, zydeco at the annual Waterfront Blues Festival, annual dance camp in September, plus annual summer members picnic. The cost to become a member is only $20 per year and it's all tax-deductible! Members get $2.00 off Wednesday night cd dances and live zydeco dances. To join, or renew, fill out a membership form at the entry desk on Wednesday night or join online.

If you join or renew your membership after April 1st it lasts through June 30 of the following year!

Our election ballots will go in July. The Board meets once a month at PPAA before the first Wednesday night dance. It's fun, you get to know more people, and it's satisfying to make a contribution of your time, energy and ideas, and we need you! (Read our new By-Laws (Word format or PDF.) No experience required!

How to Apply

In order for everyone to have an idea of who they're voting for we ask that you submit a small paragraph about why you're interested in running for the board and a little about your background. We don't need a lot - just a little introduction to you. If you can send us a picture, that would be great, too (or we can take one on a Wednesday night). You can send it by email cascadezydeco@gmail.com or write it up and give it to one of the current board members. (Emails are listed on the contact page.).
