I am part of the large Zydeco enthusiasts' community in the Bay Area. I thought you may want to know about a series of tours we're organizing under the guidance of a local SW Louisiana native who now lives in Bay Area. We call our group the Zydeco Trail Tour and we're offering our first tour to Southern Louisiana for Mardi Gras next year.

We're Louisiana Folk Roots, and we're based in Lafayette, the heart of Cajun and Creole Louisiana. Since we were founded in 1999, we've been on a mission to celebrate as much of Louisiana's rich cultural heritage as we possibly can.
No other organization does what we do. We celebrate Louisiana culture at the source, and we would like you to join us in our ongoing quest to have a great time building on the cultural traditions that make our corner of the world such an amazing place.
Gary Hayman is back in business, so far it's one long page. He's announcing Dance Camp for us. You've got to scroll way down to find the new stuff.

Bayou Dancer is from the Twin Cities area of Minnesota. One of the web sites he maintains is a great national calendar. This is a good place to explore for other interesting links related to zydeco and Cajun music. On his You Tube channel he has collected some interesting videos about Creoles
A unique site where promoters from all major Cajun and Zydeco music, dance and cultural events are invited to post happenings. Site even employs 'robot scanning' of various schedules. Employs state of the art software and techniques. Very detailed and informative and is an excellent source. Can be updated in moments. Developed and administered by (Arn Burkhoff)
