Map & Directions to Mt Hood Kiwanis Camp
Mt. Hood Kiwanis Camp is located on Forest Service Road #39, four miles east of Rhododendron, Oregon on State Highway #26.
- From Portland Airport go south on I-205 about 2 miles to the I-84 East exit (to "The Dalles").
- From I-84 East take Exit 16 ("Wood Village") and turn right.
- You will travel about 2.5 miles until you meet US 26/Burnside Street
- Turn left on US 26/Burnside Street. Stay on US 26 for about 33.5 miles.
The sign for camp will be on the right but the turn will be to the left. Forest Service road numbers increase as you leave the small community of Rhododendron. Watch the road numbers and turn left on Road #39. Mt. Hood Kiwanis Camp is the second camp on the right - about 1.8 miles up the road. Road #39 ends shortly after the camp entrance. ( map )
