Roy Carrier and the Night Rockers

Roy Carrier was a zydeco legend*. Read his biography to get a feel for how zydeco developed and get a feel for the struggles that went along with the development of this musical tradition. Both of his sons Chubby (Joseph Roy Jr.), Troy (Dikki Du) have come to Portland to play for Cascade Zydeco and at the Blues Festival.

New Year's at the Offshore Lounge, Lawtell, LA - there are some familiar faces there.

Cascade Zydeco made a contribution to Roy Carrier's medical fund.
